Operation Rice Bowl (ORB) has been the St. Mary special Lenten almsgiving project. Please place your ORB offering in the baskets near the sanctuary.

Palm branches have long been associated with the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. The palm is a symbol of victory, conquest, and kingship. As a symbol of Jesus, the Prince of Peace and Servant King, the palm has an added significance: for the palm, of all trees, is the servant tree. The palm offers shade for the weary; it is a source of food for the hungry; from its branches people obtain sugar, resin, and oil and they are used for weaving baskets and thatching roofs.

The St. Mary Parish Paschal Meal will be held on the Tuesday, March 18, at 6 P.M. in the parish center. This meal is intended for all members and friends of St. Mary Parish: young and old, families and singles. Please invite your friends to join us. This event allows us to gather our whole community together to share a meal. Please make plans to participate! Tickets are needed in advance and will be available after Mass in the lobby. The price of the meal is $4 for children, $6 for adults, and $20 for a family. Volunteers are needed to help prepare the meal after Mass on Sunday, March 16, set-up at 4 P.M. on Tuesday, March 18, and clean-up after the meal. Sign-up sheets are in the lobby.

Plants to decorate the sanctuary for Easter can be given in memory or in honor of a loved one for $10. Forms and envelopes are in the lobby. Please place in the collection basket by March 16.
